Winter Session Of Kid Vox Begins Tuesday January 10th... New Registrations are welcome through January!

We believe that singing is a great way for kids to learn, express themselves, and have a ton of fun! KidVox is the brainchild of the mother/daughter team of Ruth Johnston and Carla Small.  They will work together to instruct and direct the KidVox singers.

 Ruth:  Is a retired music teacher who taught for 30 years with the Waterloo Region District School Board.  She has directed primary, intermediate, and junior choirs.
Carla:  Is a music minister at Community Church in Waterdown.  She has studied the Seth Riggs vocal method , worked in studio, and travels and sings in churches across Ontario.

KidVox will be split into two groups, but will often work and perform together.
KidVox jr .  Grades 2 and 3.
KidVox sr.     Grades 4-7

Both groups meet Tuesday Nights from 6:30-7:30 pm at Community Church in Flamborough Centre.

At KidVox we provide vocal coaching, with the use of both sacred and popular music.  We incorporate movement and drama, with singing to create a fun filled performance.  We will perform throughout the year at Community Church and at various community activities.

January's food bank items are canned meats and fruit juices. Donations can be dropped off in the foyer anytime Thanks for helping to feed our community!  Each month we ask the foodbank what is needed most, so these items are timely to meet the current needs.

Have you ever wanted to go to church but Sunday morning didn't work for you....Well, we have thought that too.  Community responding to that need is now having its Sunday Mornings on Thursday Nights as well.  Now each Thursday will be an identical service of the following Sunday morning.  Complete with kids programs and food before.  Why not take Sunday off, sleep in, go to the cottage, spend some time with your family...and try going on Thursday instead!
