Brent Hyttenrauch
Youth and Family Pastor
Brent likes working with junior high and highschool students. He thinks that they are amazing and full of great ideas and lots and lots of energy!!! Brent gets mistaken for one of his own youth all the time...even with a beard. He is just cool like that. A massive sports fan, he has an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of the Detroit Lions...and other, winning teams. Brent has been at Community for 4 years and pastors Anazao student ministries along with his simply astonishing wife Nat.
Michelle Peckham
Kids and Family Pastor
michelle@communitychurch.ca
Michelle thinks all kids are groovy. They mostly say what is on their minds, usually unfiltered. Since she shares this trait, she fits in. Because her progeny are mature teens now, they have encouraged her to hang out with the people she fits in with. Along with hubster Davey and those two teens Michelle has been attending Community Church since its inception.
Leadership Team
Karen Thornton
Action Team
I have been at Community Church for nearly five years and have enjoyed being a part of the music ministry/creative brainstorming team. We try to come up with creative ideas to enhance each message series. I live in Waterdown and have been married for 26 years and have a daughter attending Wilfred Laurier in Waterloo. My all time fav verse is Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you,"
declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to
give you hope and a future."
That verse reminds me of the hope we have in Christ and that we are safe in His hands because He really does have a plan for our lives. My all time fav thing about Community Church is the people!!!
