A) When are your Week-end gathering?
Our gatherings happen weekly at 271 6th Concession Rd East in Flamborough Centre.
Sundays
Currently, our session begins at 10 am (9:30 am on Pancake Sundays) and goes until approximately 11:30am.
B) How do I get there?
Our facility is located at 271 Concession 6 East, Millgrove, Ontario. L8B 1M1
If you are traveling from the QEW follow Hwy #6 north and drive straight past Clappison’s Corners. Drive around 2 km and Turn right onto Concession 6. Continue down Concession 6 for around 2 kms. The church is on the left side of the street just before the stop sign at Centre Rd. The church building is a brown building.
C) What do I wear?
Dress is informal at Community, whatever you feel comfortable in is what you should wear; unless of course you feel comfortable in a speedo.
D) What programming do you have for me kids on Sundays?
Community is all about being a family’s best friend. We understand that kids are more easily impacted for Christ at a foundational level than even teens. Therefore we want the hour or 2 per week that they spend with us to be a highlight. Each of our Community Kids experiences presents something new and exciting for your children.
At Community Kids safety counts. Each of the teaching spaces is self-contained with a washroom and controlled accessibility. All children are checked in upon entry and receive a name tag. Parents are given a corresponding name tag to present at pick up.
Our Community Kids volunteers complete criminal records checks and a lengthy application with references and interviews in order to work with the children. At Community Church, we follow a strict safety and abuse prevention policy that is enforced on all levels of leadership.
Our Community Kids Classrooms are on the second level of Community Church
Tots (Ages 0 - 3)
Our second floor Loft space is a bright, colourful, toy-filled space for your child to spend some time socializing with other children. Our volunteers are total 'little-kid people'!! Many are parents who can calm an anxious child or coax a shy one into a game. We love your babies and for the hour that they spend with us, they are the most important people on the planet!!
Clubhouse Lite (Preschool)
Our new to school kiddos have a tiny room all their own where they meet once a month which with the introduction of fabulous and caring teachers, fun curriculum that always involves hands-on learning, a great Bible story and definitely some play time!
The Clubhouse (Grades JK-4)
Kids will experience worship, games, interactive stories and crazy crafts on Sunday morning! Our games can be whacky and our crafts messy but each time we are together the students are learning more about how to live for Jesus!
Jr High (Grades 5-8)
This is our chance to connect with Junior Highs on every other Sunday. We meet on the third level of the church building. Students connect with peers, play crazy games and learn all about what it means to live out their faith! Each week, students work their way through interactive video series that tackle relevant issues and encourage faith development!
E) Will I have to sign anything? Or say anything?
No, you will not have to say anything or do anything you are not comfortable with. We just want you to come and take it in. We are about Community, and we know that everybody is at different places on their spiritual journey. We appreciate that, embrace that and celebrate being on the journey together.
